Darrin's visit to Kamloops was busy, to say the very least. A radio show, walking tours, community garden bonanzas, a media blitz, seminars, lunch dates, school district meetings, a public talk, a stakeholders' meeting, more media, dinners - all in two days, followed by a 6 a.m. flight on Friday morning.
The pleasure was all mine. Thank you Laura, Elaine, Kendra, Rob, and Dave. I will be using your public produce project to teach communities throughout North America about Kamloopsians forward-thinking strategies to reduce food insecurity. Your project is a great example of what can be achieved with boundless energy and generous helpings of tenacity. - Darrin
